Mission Statement
We exist in order to empower inner city, economically/historically less advantaged children from New York City and surrounding areas to realize their fullest potential.
We seek to do this, not only through education, which is our primary focus, but also through cultural enrichment and recreational stimuli, so that we may achieve the most thorough development of each child that we serve.
We operate year-round and target children with all levels of ability, cognizant that this will more appropriately prepare them for the real world and their roles in the future.

Vision
We exist so that our children will be empowered to choose their future.
We believe that no child should be denied the gift of knowledge.
We preach the power to educate which enables our children to become productive citizens.
We acknowledge the primacy of the family and the critical role it must play in the education of our children.
We symbolize hope as we counteract the root cases of delinquency, poverty, racism and ignorance.
We measure our success by the difference we make in the lives of our children.

History
The St. Aloysius Education Clinic is a non-profit organization which is dedicated to providing educational and other programs to children with the conviction that education and opportunity are inextricably linked.
Founded in 1979, when programs were initiated in Public School 92 and St. Aloysius, The Clinic, has since expanded from a small community based organization into a thriving education clinic which serves children from ages 3 – 21, from all the boroughs of the city, Nassau, Rockland, and Westchester counties, and Northern New Jersey. Every year The Clinic expands its enrollment and programs to accommodate the needs of the community.
Affectionately known as "The Clinic", The St. Aloysius Education Clinic can be summed up in one simple word, Opportunity. We offer opportunities for:
